World Congress of Nephrology 2019

Registration and abstract submission are now open!

ISN’s World Congress of Nephrology is a unique event for professionals in the field of nephrology. It features renowned experts speaking on topics of critical importance to renal health around the world. This time we’ll be placing special emphasis on issues particular to Asia Pacific, as we’re meeting in beautiful Melbourne, Australia (voted the world’s most livable city for the past 7 years running).

Early bird discounts. If you register now, you can enjoy significant savings (up to $200 USD) on your admission to the congress, which includes the scientific program, all plenary sessions and unparalleled access to international medical expertise in kidney care and research.

If you’ve ever dreamt of taking a nephrology adventure in the homeland of kangaroos and koalas, this is your chance!

Present your current research to peers. This is also a great opportunity to raise the profile of your work among a body of international nephrology specialists. Besides potentially securing the author a presentation slot, accepted abstracts will be published electronically in the searchable databases of the WCN 2019 and Kidney International Reports (an official journal of the ISN). About 20 select abstracts will also be published (electronically) at the ISN Academy. Since abstract presenters must also be registered by January 31, 2019, we encourage you to take advantage of the early bird discount – which will easily defray the $40 processing fee. Submission deadline is November 12, 2018.

We are also pleased to offer a
travel grant program for ISN members residing in low income countries and lower middle-income countries wishing to attend WCN 2019. You can find more info HERE.

New! The ‘Oscars’ of nephrology. A special feature at this year's congress is the ISN Community Film Award, which showcases films that reflect patient experiences or provide education on renal topics. (Read more HERE.) The winner will be chosen by WCN participants in a dedicated session. Deadline for submitting your masterpiece is November 12, 2018.
